Kathy’s career spans a varied background in both government and non-profit organizations, most recently a high-visibility government team for the Department of Defense (DoD). With an impressive portfolio, Kathy has demonstrated her multifaceted expertise by contributing to various DoD-supported programs and initiatives. Her extensive career encompasses roles at both the corporate level and in direct support of government customer teams, as well as in private industry and non-profit organizations.

Before her current role, Kathy built a robust career over more than 25 years, holding various positions at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, serving as Director of Programs for the Fairfax County (VA) Arts Council, and as the Director of Resident Services at a large retirement community in Virginia. In addition to those efforts, she also served as the Executive Director of the Arts Council of Calvert County, Maryland. These roles have collectively enriched her professional experience, enabling her to bring a wealth of knowledge, creativity and insight to her current endeavors.

Kathy is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for M&K Global Impact. In this capacity, she wears many hats, serving as the M&K lead for several critical functions including providing guidance for regional non-profits’ fundraising efforts, resume development, manpower assessments, grant writing, proposal development and execution of specialized training, and conference/symposium organization. Her 38 years of cumulative experience in the DoD and private sectors have equipped her with a unique skill set that she leverages to drive success for M&K Global Impact.

Kathy's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lawrence University, WI. Originally hailing from Wisconsin, she now resides in Prince Frederick, Maryland with her husband, continuing to make significant professional contributions while enjoying life in a close-knit community.
